Specialist, Corruption Prevention (Healthcare sector)

The Basel Institute on Governance is an independent international organisation dedicated to promoting good governance and combating corruption worldwide. In Ukraine, the Institute works with public institutions and international partners to strengthen anti-corruption systems, corporate governance and integrity as the country advances reforms and EU integration. The team is looking for a Specialist, Corruption Prevention to support healthcare-sector partners through analytical work, capacity building and implementation of compliance and corruption prevention initiatives.

Обов'язки

• conducting diagnostics of internal control, internal audit, compliance and risk management systems in healthcare-sector institutions
• assessing corruption and fraud risks and identifying regulatory, institutional and operational gaps
• providing analytical and advisory support on compliance, corporate governance and anti-corruption matters
• monitoring Ukrainian legislation, policy developments and international best practices related to governance, compliance and internal control
• contributing to the design and implementation of capacity-building strategies for healthcare-sector partners
• developing training materials, methodological guidance and practical tools
• supporting the delivery of training sessions and awareness-raising initiatives
• conducting research, surveys, interviews and corporate documentation reviews
• preparing analytical reports, presentations, policy briefs and other project deliverables
• supporting project coordination, monitoring implementation progress and contributing to project reporting
• participating in coordination meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities

Вимоги

• university degree in Law, Internal Audit or a related field
• at least 5 years of professional experience in compliance, internal audit, internal investigations, corporate governance, risk management or corruption prevention
• experience preparing analytical reports, conducting research and developing internal regulations and policies
• strong analytical and research skills with the ability to formulate practical recommendations
• experience designing and delivering training or capacity-building programmes
• experience providing training or consulting on compliance, corporate governance or risk management
• strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• proficiency in MS Office
• native-level Ukrainian and excellent English
• experience in Big4, leading law firms, audit firms, SOEs or state institutions will be an advantage
• experience in Audit, Compliance or Legal Officer roles will be an advantage
• experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector will be an advantage
