Geneva Call is an international humanitarian organization that endeavours to strengthen the respect of humanitarian norms and principles by armed groups, in order to improve the protection of civilians, using varied awareness-raising and training tools.

Обов'язки

• іmplementation of project activities as part of Geneva Call's program to enhance the protection of the civilian population in Ukraine
• needs assessment, monitoring and reporting on contextual developments through regular field visits
• engagement and regular contact with relevant stakeholders and weapon bearers, as well as state authorities, local and international organizations in oblasts covered by GC Mykolaiv office
• attendance and representation of GC as required at conferences, seminars and other events in the region, relevant to GC mandate
• drafting annual and monthly program plans, budgets, and project activities monitoring plans
• planning and organization of awareness-raising activities, meetings, trainings, workshops and coordinating initiatives with partners
• conducting IHL trainings, with support from the program team and IHL trainers
• ensuring reporting upon implemented activities and projects

Вимоги

• Master’s degree in political or social science, international humanitarian law or human rights
• 1+ year of relevant experience in project management
• field work experience with NGOs in conflict- and crisis-affected countries and emergency contexts
• solid project management skills related to organizational development projects and international, cross-functional teams with a proven history of delivering results
• developed interpersonal and communication skills including coaching
• ability to work under pressure and in conflict-affected settings
• fluency in English and Ukrainian
• experience of negotiation with weapon bearers and other stakeholders will be an advantage
