patient Scanning and Design:Utilize 3D scanning technologies to accurately capture the anatomical details of patients with transtibial, transfemoral, transradial, and transhumeral amputations. Design custom prosthetic sockets, orthoses, and covers that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of the patient
software Proficiency:Demonstrate expertise in major design and processing software, including Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks for prosthetics and orthotics design, Blender for aesthetic covers, Materialise Magics for data preparation and mesh repairs, and MeshMixer for mesh processing. Use HP SmartStream for 3D printing preparation
3D Printing and Material Knowledge: Operate and maintain 3D printers using SLA (Stereolithography), FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), and MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) technologies. Select appropriate materials for each project based on durability, flexibility, and patient comfort
quality Assurance and Testing: Ensure that all designs and final products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Conduct tests to verify the fit, comfort, and functionality of prosthetic sockets and orthoses
collaboration and communication: Work closely with medical professionals, patients, and production teams to refine prosthetic and orthotic designs. Provide technical support and training as needed

bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
minimum of 2 years of experience in a 3D printing production environment, preferably with a focus on prosthetics and orthotics.
proficient in Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, Materialise Magics, MeshMixer, and HP SmartStream, or similar software solutions.
familiarity with SLA, FDM, and MJF 3D printing technologies and materials.
strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design for both functionality and aesthetics.
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with basic fluency in English.
a compassionate understanding of patient needs and the ability to work sensitively with individuals who have experienced limb loss.
