Terre des Hommes Italy (TDH It) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting children from violence and abuse, ensuring their right to health, education, and life. Part of the TDH International Federation, TDH It operates in 20 countries worldwide, carrying out humanitarian interventions and development projects in sectors such as education, maternal and child health, child protection, and rehabilitation, benefitting thousands of children, their families, and communities.

Обов'язки

  • assist the project team in the daily and weekly implementation of project activities
  • assist the project team in the procurement process, coordinate delivery of items/goods, and closely monitor supplier performance
  • assist in developing the project budget (forecast)
  • carry out quarterly budget forecast control in line with project expense progress, updating the country representative on necessary changes and proposing control measures
  • ensure correct cost allocation in the cost-sharing regime and conduct monthly reviews of assignments
  • prepare and follow up on ongoing project audits and financial verifications requested by donors
  • monitor bank payments and cash flow
  • carry out monthly expense verification in the accounting management system and manage bank reconciliations
  • supervise accounting system management
  • provide technical support and control for administrative, logistical, and financial aspects
  • prepare interim and final financial reports for donors
  • participate in budget preparation for new projects and organizational activities
  • ensure employment contracts for project employees align with accounted expenses and Ukrainian legislation
  • perform other duties related to the role, as requested

Вимоги

  • high school diploma/certificate or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant work experience, or
  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent in international relations, finance management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited academic institution
  • 1 year of professional experience
  • experience in managing multi-sectoral activities
  • experience working with a non-governmental organization (advantageous)
  • knowledge of project management cycles
  • proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • knowledge of accounting systems (an asset)
  • excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Ukrainian
