Swisscontact is an independent non-profit development organization established in 1959 by representatives of the Swiss private sector and civil society. Our work focuses on private sector-led, sustainable economic development and improved quality of life for all in developing and emerging countries. A key focus is to strengthen the skills of individuals and foster the competitiveness of businesses.

The Business and Portfolio Development Manager is required to lead resource mobilization initiatives and coordinate proposal development processes and contribute to successful acquisitions in Ukraine. The Swisscontact Manager is also responsible for donor relations, proposal writing, donor reporting and backstopping country office in thematic areas as and when required.

Обов'язки

• support the Country Director to manage Swisscontact’s portfolio in Ukraine
• undertake research & development of concept notes in collaboration with the UKR team and EEA & Ukraine Manager
• provide thematic support on project delivery
• maintain partnerships with the Private sector and donors in Ukraine. Work closely with SC members and other stakeholders, collect donor intelligence, and undertake a donor mapping focused sectors
• gather relevant information through secondary research and in-person interviews for new project proposals to be prepared for donors
• oversee the maintenance and upgrading of the donor database, proposal tracking system, and resources roster in the team

Вимоги

• Master’s in management or any other relevant field with 5 years of experience
• understanding of donor proposal requirements
• excellent writing and presentation skills, particularly in English
• proven track record in developing concept notes and project proposals
• ability to conduct independent research, intelligence gathering, and networking
• ability to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• experience in any of Swisscontact’s thematic areas will be considered imperative
