Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organization that uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future. Greenpeace Ukraine seeks an experienced, creative, and passionate Campaigner to work on Ukraine’s green energy transition. The role involves identifying and addressing barriers to Ukraine’s green recovery and developing campaigns to promote the shift from nuclear to renewable energy sources, in collaboration with the communication and engagement teams. This is a unique opportunity to impact environmental protection in Ukraine significantly.

Обов'язки

  • participating in campaign planning, including strategy and steps for Ukraine’s green recovery and energy transition
  • lobbying and public affairs, including networking and maintaining high-level contacts in political, economic, and NGO sectors
  • leading implementation of national-level campaign projects in the energy transition sphere, including donor reporting
  • coordinating organization and communication of events, both in-person in Ukraine and online (exhibitions, presentations, public discussions, webinars, etc.)
  • collaborating on national, regional, and international levels with Ukrainian NGOs, as well as with international Greenpeace offices and colleagues
  • serving as a public speaker for Greenpeace campaigns (media interviews, presentations, conference speaking)
  • building a network of organizations, activists, and stakeholders focused on green reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine
  • preparing informational materials, position papers, web content, and reports on campaign topics and supporting the UA team with communications
  • developing expertise in green reconstruction, renewable energy sources, and nuclear energy

Вимоги

  • bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • at least 3 years of professional experience
  • fluency in Ukrainian and English (Upper-Intermediate / Advanced)
  • experience in project management, coordination of people and processes
  • high level of autonomy, self-management, and initiative
  • public speaking and communication skills
  • critical and analytical thinking
  • effectiveness and efficiency in work
  • ability to learn quickly
  • resilience and flexibility
  • commitment and enthusiasm for Greenpeace’s mission and values
  • volunteer work is a plus
  • experience in associations/civil/NGO sector will be an advantage

Умови

  • based in Kyiv with a hybrid work format
  • full-time, flexible hours
  • travel within Ukraine and abroad (military reservation not provided)
