Civic Ukraine is soon to launch in Ukraine as The Possible. The Possible is an alliance of impact-driven entrepreneurs, mayors, social investors, mentors, policymakers, urban planners, and business support organisations. It‘s mission is to reimagine and rebuild our country, one place at a time. Civic Ukraine and ReStart have joined together to launch the first Community Action Lab process in Voznesensk. It‘s focusing on supporting MSME’s (micro, small & medium enterprises) which provide crucial income for vulnerable families.

Обов'язки

• leading day to day strategic, tactical and operational activity of the Lab
• identifying, onboarding and building relationships with participants (local municipalities, NGOs, advisors, youth orgs, etc).
• communicating with internal and external stakeholders and advisors
• reporting to the Board on Lab progress, status, and impact
• working with advisors to design the Lab programing and strategic output
• working across the functional areas of the Lab including communications, knowledge management, facilitation, capacity-building, logistics and evaluation to ensure effective collaboration between teams
• making strategic and operational decisions
• negotiating financing and contracting with Lab stakeholders
• operational management including overseeing event planning, logistics, and budget
• ongoing management of multiple, often competing priorities and stakeholder needs
• support with raising any additional investment required for the Lab

Вимоги

• 3+ years experience in a leadership role in the fields of social entrepreneurship, community development, donor and government engagement, MSME’s, group facilitation and especially the U-process is a huge plus
• ability to work within a multi-stakeholder system and communicate effectively with diverse groups
• comfortable problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
• ability to be effective and produce results with patience, bravery, imagination and flexibility in the face of complexity and uncertainty
• understanding the functioning of systems and the role and impact of power within them
• having passion about systems-change, inclusivity and community development in Ukraine
• knowledge of Agile methodologies, prototyping, and design-thinking
• working knowledge of Slack, Google Apps, Miro, etc
• fluency in both Ukrainian and English
• willingness to travel and spend time in Voznesensk

Умови

• based in Ukraine
• salary commensurate with experience
• 4 to 5 days a week, compressed hours option available
• 2-month trial period for a 1-year contract with intent to renew
• reports to The Possible Executive Team and attends weekly virtual management meetings
