    Pact has long supported Ukraine in some of its most critical struggles — for democracy, for improved health and wellbeing for all Ukrainians, and for women’s rights and gender equality. Pact Inc, is implementing a USAID-funded project, Community Action for HIV Control. The project goal is to accelerate Ukraine’s efforts to achieve HIV epidemic control by 2030 by improved prevention, testing and linkage to care among key and priority populations.
    Pact is seeking applications for the position of Communications Officer. Reporting to Communications Advisor, the Communications Officer is responsible for managing relations with communications specialists of NGOs-subgrantees, developing specific targeted communication strategies and campaigns, communication activities within the Project. Communications Officer will develop and maintain working relationships with civic organizations throughout Ukraine, community groups and other stakeholders, including marginalized population.
 

Обов'язки

  • contributing to the implementation of Community Action for HIV Control communications strategy in line with the relevant donor and Pact branding guidelines
  • managing relations with communications specialists of NGOs-subgrantees, preparation of guidelines, instructions, assistance in planning, implementation, and monitoring of communication activities of organizations within the Project
  • participation in planning and implementation of activities to strengthen the communications of subgrantee NGOs
  • developing specific targeted communication strategies and campaigns, coordination of contractors, marketing and promotion, evaluation of activities’ outcomes
  • developing and maintaining professional relationships with the media, identifying opportunities for media coverage around campaigns, events, and specific publications
  • creating external and internal materials, and designing communication materials, including press releases, website and social media content, leaflets and brochures, reports, speeches, and other marketing materials
  • assist in event marketing: organizing and conducting offline and online events
  • developing and maintaining working relationships with civic organizations throughout Ukraine, community groups and other stakeholders, including marginalized groups

Вимоги

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, social studies or related field or relevant experience
  • experience of work in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media
  • demonstrated ability to work in complex environments and work with and between different stakeholders
  • demonstrated skills in problem-solving and consensus-building
  • experience developing and implementing communications strategies, campaigns, and activities will be an advantage
  • strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), social media and website applications, analytics tools will be an advantage
  • high-level interpersonal and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management skills will be an advantage
  • demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage workload and meet deadlines will be an advantage
  • experience implementing USG-funded programs in Ukraine will be an advantage
  • experience in communications in the field of HIV/AIDS and/or public health will be an advantage
  • experience working with community-based organizations and/or key populations in Ukraine will be an advantage
  • the candidate must be demonstrably proficient in (oral, writing and reading) Ukrainian and English
  • ability to travel within Ukraine and occasionally internationally when health and safety situation allows
  • for Ukrainian nationality only
