The employer is an international NGO charity organization in the field of culture and communication, aimed at supporting a number of developing countries around the world.

The Country Manager will work closely with the international project team and local partners to manage operations, stakeholder relations, project implementation, donor reporting, and ensure full compliance with organizational policies.

Обов'язки

  • coordination of administrative and legal procedures for project delivery in collaboration with the Country Director, Project Director, and international team
  • oversight of project activities to ensure timely delivery, quality, and alignment with plans
  • management of contractual and logistical arrangements with consultants, freelancers, and suppliers, and coordination of their work in Ukraine
  • relationship management with local authorities, media stakeholders, beneficiaries, and delivery partners
  • compliance with organizational policies including financial management, procurement, HR, safeguarding, data protection, and health & safety
  • preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and other documentation required by donors and partners
  • monitoring of relevant developments and best practices in the field of media development and related areas
  • participation in financial reporting, project audits, and coordination with the finance team
  • maintenance and development of partnerships with regional stakeholders, collaborators, and media actors
  • completion of additional tasks as reasonably required

Вимоги

  • experience in delivering training in Eastern Europe, preferably in Ukraine of one year or more
  • knowledge of and interest in Ukraine’s media landscape; experience in media development
  • strong project management skills, including planning, monitoring, and progress reporting
  • understanding of project and financial management processes and tools
  • excellent IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office 365
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • proven experience in team leadership and staff management
  • excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Ukrainian
  • understanding of editorial standards and experience in editorial decision-making
  • awareness of risk assessment, monitoring, and mitigation
  • knowledge of donor compliance requirements in finance, administration, data protection, and safeguarding
  • legal right to live and work in Ukraine

Умови

  • full-time, office-based role in Kyiv
  • collaboration with an international team headquartered in Europe and local coordinators in EECA countries
  • occasional travel within EECA region required
