Quantum Systems specialises in the development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). The company’s range of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) sUAS are built to maximize range and versatility and to provide operators with a seamless user experience. By integrating cutting-edge software capabilities, like edge computing and real-time AI-powered data processing, Quantum Systems is building next-generation UAS for clients in defence, security, public sectors.

• Design & Development Create UAV designs using CAD systems (CATIA or similar)
• perform structural and aerodynamic calculations, including FEM analysis
• work with composite materials and additive manufacturing technologies
• prototyping & Testing Participate in building prototypes, conducting tests, and refining designs
• integrate electronic systems, propulsion units, sensors, and payloads into the overall designs
• Documentation & Collaboration Prepare and maintain technical documentation: drawings, specifications, and requirements
• cooperate with manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance and implement updates

Вимоги

• higher technical education (aerospace, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering)
• proficiency in CAD systems (CATIA or equivalent)
• maintenance of design and related documentation
• understanding of aerodynamics and practical knowledge of engineering mechanics
• understanding the principles of electronic component integration
• practical experience in prototype development and collaboration with production teams
• a systematic approach to completing tasks and analyzing potential problems
• proven experience in designing aircraft, UAVs, or similar products would be a plus
• experience with composites (preferred) and additive manufacturing would be a plus
• experience with military or civil UAVs would be a plus
• knowledge of certification standards (MIL-STD, ISO, DIN, DSTU) would be a plus
• participation in drone or aeromodelling projects or competitions would be a plus
• basic knowledge of electronics, control, and navigation systems would be a plus
