lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in the development of Frontier VCU nodes and expansion modules
define and implement the technical roadmap for Frontier hardware and embedded systems
manage the design, development, and validation of embedded hardware, FPGA implementations, and firmware
develop and optimize custom communication protocols for seamless integration within the Frontier ecosystem
ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and real-world operational constraints
collaborate closely with software, AI, and systems engineering teams for smooth hardware-software integration
establish best practices for hardware and embedded software development, testing, and deployment
work with manufacturing and deployment teams to optimize production processes and field implementation
Вимоги
7+ years of experience in hardware development, embedded systems, and firmware engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
expertise in FPGA design, embedded C/C++, Rust, or Python for low-level firmware development
deep understanding of real-time systems, sensor fusion, and hardware security
experience developing custom communication protocols, high-reliability embedded system architectures, and mission-critical embedded systems
hands-on experience with PCB design, microcontrollers, FPGA, and system-on-chip (SoC) architectures
knowledge of secure boot, encryption, and hardware cybersecurity measures
proven track record in end-to-end hardware product development, from prototyping to mass production
strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
experience in defense, robotics, or aerospace hardware development, including electronic warfare resilience
familiarity with NATO defense projects and compliance standards
