Intelic is strengthening its presence in Ukraine by building trusted relationships with key partners and military end users. To support this mission, we are looking for a Field Support Engineer who will work directly with Ukrainian military stakeholders and partners, ensuring the reliable deployment, integration, and frontline support of Intelic’s solutions in Ukraine.

You will enable military end-users and partners to operate effectively by serving as the critical technical link between end users and partners in Ukraine and the development team in the Netherlands. The role is field-oriented, full-time with a flexible schedule, and requires frequent travel across Ukraine. You will report to the Customer Success Lead and act as a local extension of the Netherlands-based development and customer success teams.

• technical support to partners and end-users (hardware/software issues, deployment support)
• configuration, testing, and maintenance of flight systems (PX4 / ArduPilot)
• configuration of local systems, radios, and networks for smooth integration
• support of validation, verification, and field-testing of mission-critical systems
• collaboration with software engineers, defense experts, and operations teams
• support of onboarding and field training of end-users and partners (train-the-trainer model)
• field testing and quality assurance with military and technical partners
• documentation of issues, fixes, and field learnings for internal feedback loops
• role as local extension of Netherlands-based development and customer success teams
• coordination and reporting across key checkpoints (testing, deployments)

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

• reliable deployment and integration of Intelic’s solutions with partners and military end-users in Ukraine
• efficient resolution of technical issues in the field with minimized downtime and operational risk
• effective onboarding and support of end-users and partners through train-the-trainer approach
• smooth execution of field testing and deployments in coordination with partners
• clear documentation and structured feedback loops improving product quality and deployment practices
• timely and accurate reporting to headquarters enabling effective coordination and decision-making

 

Вимоги

• Ukrainian citizenship or legal right to work in Ukraine
• experience in assembling, configuring, and operating drones
• knowledge of flight control stacks such as PX4 and/or ArduPilot
• technical education (engineering, IT, telecommunications, etc.)
• troubleshooting experience with radios, networks, and deployment issues
• familiarity with GIS tools, telemetry systems, or network troubleshooting
• fluency in Ukrainian language
• English proficiency (written and spoken) at intermediate level
• willingness to work in conflict zones and dynamic field conditions
• readiness for irregular working hours, including weekend duties
• ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure
• problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical skills
• experience in defense sector, humanitarian missions, or field operations
• collaboration experience with NGOs, military units, or international partners
