Field support engineer

Intelic is a fast-growing Amsterdam-based startup that builds advanced software for unmanned systems in the defense sector. To support our growing presence in Ukraine, we are hiring a Field Support Engineer to ensure reliable deployment, integration, and support of our solutions in collaboration with military end-users and partners.

This is a full-time, field-oriented role with a flexible schedule and requires close coordination with our Netherlands-based development and customer success teams.

Обов'язки

• provide Level 1 technical support to partners and end-users (hardware/software issues, deployment support)
• deploy and integrate Intelic’s solutions on-site (no coding required)
• configure local systems, radios, and networks for integration
• support onboarding and limited field training (train-the-trainer model)
• conduct field-testing and quality assurance with military and technical partners
• document issues, fixes, and field learnings for feedback and improvement
• act as a local extension of development and customer success teams
• coordinate and report on key deployment and testing milestones
• maintain regular communication with headquarters and provide timely updates

• Intelic’s systems are reliably deployed and integrated with Ukrainian military and partners
• technical issues are resolved quickly in the field, reducing downtime
• train-the-trainer enablement leads to successful onboarding of end-users
• field-testing and deployments are conducted smoothly with partners
• documentation and feedback loops drive ongoing product improvement
• headquarters receives timely updates for effective coordination and decisions

Вимоги

• Ukrainian citizenship or legal right to work in Ukraine
• technical education (engineering, IT, telecommunications, etc.)
• strong troubleshooting experience with radios, networks, and deployments
• proven experience working with UxV’s
• motivation to learn new technologies
• readiness to work in conflict zones and dynamic field conditions
• flexibility for irregular working hours, including weekends
• ability to work independently and stay composed under pressure
• strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical skills
• valid driving license (category B)
• fluent Ukrainian language
• English proficiency (intermediate level, written and spoken)
• prior experience in defense, humanitarian missions, or field operations
• familiarity with GIS tools, telemetry systems, or network troubleshooting
• knowledge of Linux, embedded systems, or remote hardware management
• experience working with NGOs, military units, or international partners
