Swisscontact is expanding its work in Ukraine with the BLOOM project, aimed at boosting food security and livelihoods for war-affected communities through a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach.

The Finance and Admin Officer is responsible for processing the project’s financial documentation, maintaining the document management system in paper and electronic versions, keeping records of transactions in ABACUS, generating monthly reports, and managing internet banking.

Обов'язки

  • maintenance and management of the books and accounting mandate according to FCDO and Swisscontact’s rules and local law, including account statements, general ledger, Abacus (accounting software), P&L, balance sheet
  • implementation and maintenance of daily financial and administrative procedures in accordance with established systems and controls, ensuring compliance with Swisscontact Ukraine internal policies and Swisscontact Global Office requirements
  • monitoring of financial operations, including onsite at partners, suppliers, and service providers, with provision of necessary support
  • ensuring adherence to the organization’s Code of Conduct and Operations Manual, in cooperation with Compliance Officers and other Admin & Finance staff
  • provision of documents for internal and external audits, support to the Finance and Admin Manager and Technical Lead to implement measures and action plans in order to close audit findings
  • administrative and logistical support in organizing project activities
  • support in HR management, including maintenance of personnel files as per Swisscontact’s regulations and procedures
  • assistance in the process of due diligence of subcontractors, partner organizations, and suppliers
  • maintenance of the filing system, both hardcopy and electronic, and guidance to project staff on proper filing of project documents
  • maintenance of administrative documentation as per Swisscontact requirements and local legal requirements
  • provision of secretarial services to senior project staff and consultants, including photocopying, printing, writing correspondence, handling phone calls and emails as requested

Вимоги

  • bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law, or business administration
  • experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or controlling of 5 years or more
  • experience with donor-funded projects preferred
  • strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • excellent Ukrainian skills, good understanding of English is considered an asset (written & spoken)
  • honest person of integrity, demonstrating ethical behaviour in all aspects of work

  • work in Kyiv, with regular visits to the implementation regions (Kharkiv, Mykolaiv)
  • 12 months contract duration, starting in June 2025, with possibility of extension (subject to further FCDO funding)
