OpenMinds is one of the fastest-growing companies dedicated to building cognitive warfare capabilities for democracies, with a core focus on countering disinformation and influence operations. The team provides governments and institutions with full-cycle cognitive threat intelligence and response solutions, with a particular focus on the Russo-Ukrainian war. Through AI-driven tools and expert analysis, we deliver research, execute counter-influence campaigns, and measure real-world impact. Over the past 2 years, OpenMinds has led over 350 counter-disinformation campaigns and published 55+ reports on the Russo-Ukrainian conflict and related propaganda, with work featured in The Economist, The Times, The Guardian, The New York Times, CNN, and The Financial Times. The team is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Head of Operations to join our leadership team, working closely with the CEO to drive operational excellence and support OpenMinds’ growth.

• development of a scalable operational structure to support growth from 25 to 100+ members within two years
• oversight of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and aligning financial strategies with operational goals
• conducting process audits across departments to enhance efficiency through automation, checklists, and innovative tools
• setting and monitoring departmental goals and KPIs to ensure strategic alignment
• identification and mitigation of operational risks to ensure long-term sustainability
• collaboration with the legal team on compliance and legal matters
• direct reporting to the CEO

Вимоги

• 5+ years of experience as COO, Head of Operations, Operations Director, or a similar senior role
• expertise in HR, recruitment, finance, and process design, with a track record of building and optimizing these functions
• experience in scaling operations for teams of 50+ in high-growth environments
• strong analytical skills and proficiency with operational tools such as Excel/Sheets and Notion
• dedication to continuous optimization, metrics tracking, process refinement, and scalable workflows
• excellent communication and leadership skills to ensure alignment and foster collaboration
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher
