Swisscontact is expanding its work in Ukraine with the BLOOM project, focused on supporting food security and restoring livelihoods for war-affected communities through on- and off-farm resilience. The project applies Market Systems Development (MSD) principles to tackle both immediate needs and systemic challenges. The company is looking for an Intervention Manager to coordinate and manage Swisscontact’s interventions across project offices in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv. The role acts as a bridge between the intervention team and technical leadership, overseeing planning, operations, and stakeholder engagement to ensure BLOOM’s strategic positioning within the consortium and beyond.

Обов'язки

  • development of detailed implementation plans, including timelines, budgets, and outcome metrics for each intervention
  • coordination of resources and support for monitoring and evaluation of intervention progress
  • oversight of development and implementation of training programs tailored to market needs in focus areas
  • stakeholder engagement with educational institutions, private companies, and local governments to ensure program alignment
  • monitoring of trainee progress and tracking of employment outcomes after program completion
  • leadership in participant selection for pilot initiatives aimed at supporting small businesses and energy-efficient infrastructure renovations in focus areas
  • technical assistance to small businesses and other recipients in developing viable project proposals
  • guidance on implementing energy-efficient infrastructure renovations, including advice on technologies, suppliers, and compliance with standards
  • organization of workshops, training sessions, or mentorship programs to enhance grantees’ capacity to utilize funds effectively and sustainably
  • conducting of regular site visits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of project activities

Вимоги

  • degree in a relevant field such as development studies, social sciences, international relations, or economics
  • relevant project implementation experience of 10 years or more
  • familiarity with adaptive and agile project management
  • experience in implementing interventions from an MSD perspective
  • experience in participating in climate-resilient infrastructure projects is considered an asset
  • experience in implementing FCDO projects is considered positively
  • experience in dealing with complex and high-pressure work environments
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • fluency in spoken and written English
  • strong personality with good social skills and high emotional intelligence

Умови

  • work in Kyiv, with regular visits to the implementation regions (Kharkiv, Mykolaiv)
  • 12 months contract duration, starting in June 2025, with possibility of extension (subject to further FCDO funding)
