Обов'язки

• participation in the preparation of holistic safety trainings for media practitioners and human rights defenders in Ukraine
• delivering trainings in physical safety and risk management
• adaptation, creation and contextualization of physical safety and risk management lessons and methodology
• participation in developing, implementing and maintaining of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for activities in training locations
• monitoring participants’ learning and performance during trainings/other psychosocial activities

Вимоги

• higher education or experience designing and implementing curriculum for physical safety trainings, preferably in emergency protocols, risk assessment, first aid and safety, of 2 years or more
• experience working in high-risk environments or emergency situations
• expertise in areas such as training programming and curriculum development
• in-depth knowledge of journalism sector and operating environment and media landscape in Ukraine and Eastern Europe region
• openness to learning and adapting training material
• ability to communicate professionally and provide written reporting in Ukrainian and English
• excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills

Умови

• work in Ukraine or Eastern Europe with unrestricted travel availability to Ukraine and the region
• consultancy position with the potential to become a part/full-time hire
