Swisscontact is a Swiss non-profit development organization working in over 130 projects across 41 countries to promote sustainable, private sector–driven economic development. A key focus is strengthening individual skills and business competitiveness.
In Ukraine, Swisscontact runs three projects in TVET (EdUP), SME development (Empower AgriWomen), and trade promotion (SIPPO).
The EdUP expansion supports vulnerable groups affected by war (women, veterans, IDPs, people with special needs) through short-term vocational training. The model integrates technical skills, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, and MHPSS/life skills to support both professional and personal development. It is co-developed with private sector partners and designed for flexible learning during wartime disruptions.
