Monitoring & Evaluation Expert on Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support Project

Psychosocial Recovery and Evacuations Together with our ongoing initiatives, Crown Agents International Development (CAID) is extending MHPSS and Evacuations programming in Eastern Ukraine. This 6-month project is based on upscaling efforts to provide mental health first aid and psychological trauma recovery to 1500 adults and 300 children, as well as the evacuations of 300 people. The Project Crown Agents International Development, in partnership with civil society organisations, requires a consultant to work with the partner to maintain safeguarding and monitor the security situation for the safe evacuation of people, as well as support the partner in psychosocial interventions.

Обов'язки

• liaise with CAID project management unit, and the emergency MHPSS team of the partner, to collect and analyse project outcomes of MHPSS activities conducted throughout the project
• in coordination with the partner, conduct interviews with project beneficiaries, project psychologists and key stakeholders
• conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the requirements, obstacles, and deficiencies within the MHPSS sector in Ukraine
• develop the essential tools and surveys required for gathering pertinent data and information regarding the project's accomplishments, challenges, and insights gained
• collaborate with the project management team at CAID to evaluate and analyse the MHPSS activities implemented by the partner
• propose relevant program adjustments to recommend alterations and refinements to the project delivery process and stages for future use, if necessary
• assess the partner's proficiency and comprehension of MHPSS and recommend strategies for improvement
• deliver a comprehensive final evaluation report comprising the employed methodology, analysis, significant discoveries, recommendations, and conclusions.

Вимоги

• advanced degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related field preferred
• at least 8 years’ experience in conducting similar M&E assignments
• formal training in counselling, self-care, self-compassion, and other relevant MHPSS disciplines preferred
• exceptional skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• experience with FCDO or other international donor-funded projects preferred
• well-developed written and oral communication skills in both Ukrainian / Russian and English
• ability to travel as necessary
