FHI 360 is a US-based NGO dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. FHI 360’s Crisis Response team is responding to the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine, providing integrated health, nutrition, mental health, and protection programming focused on decreasing morbidity and mortality among conflict-affected communities. FHI 360 is seeking a Nutrition Program Manager for an anticipated new nutrition project focused on improving infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices among pregnant and lactating women in health facilities and communities.

Обов'язки

• recruitment, management, and guidance of nutrition staff, ensuring clear roles, objectives, and performance management
• contribution to the development of the nutrition framework, indicators, and data tools with relevant coordinators
• conduction and coordination of IYCF-E needs assessments, ensuring proper documentation
• regular updates to the nutrition program work plan and ensuring adherence to FHI 360 and donor requirements
• capacity building for government health facilities in IYCF services and management of community nutrition activities, including volunteer recruitment
• oversight of information dissemination on IYCF to PLW and management of IYCF-E training and activities
• implementation and monitoring of assessments related to breastfeeding practices and staffing in health facilities
• analysis of program data to ensure evidence-based nutrition programming and support for program evaluations
• development of supervision and mentorship tools, providing technical supervision of field activities
• contribution to FHI 360’s nutrition strategy in Ukraine and identification of linkages with other program areas
• coordination with various departments for smooth program implementation and ensuring adherence to security protocols
• establishment of external relationships with local health authorities and representation of FHI 360 in national nutrition coordination structures
• production of regular reports and plans, and performance of other duties as assigned

Вимоги

• master’s degree or its international equivalent in nutrition, public health, medicine, or other relevant discipline
• 6+ years of experience working in the implementation of nutrition, public health, or related programs
• prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or UN agency is highly preferred
• program development or program management experience preferred
• good knowledge of technical standards and best practices in IYCF programming is an advantage
• excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated leadership capacity
• demonstrated project and personnel management skills
• strong organizational skills, especially in time management and prioritization, with attention to detail
• excellent analytical and reporting skills
• fluency in Ukrainian and proficiency in written and spoken English
• proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)

Умови

• full-time (40 hours)
• work location: Dnipro or Odesa, Ukraine
• duration: September 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025, with possible extension
• salary: 133,000 UAH per month after taxes
