Operations Director (Lviv)

Care in Action is a non-profit charitable organisation that was registered in Germany in 1998. The organisation is recruiting an Operations Director who will provide excellent management of human resources and program implementation, to support services for disadvantaged children. This role will cooperate with the existing Director in Ukraine, who is changing to the role of Development Director, and with the German charity Care in Action. This is a wonderful opportunity to ensure the quality of services that support children who are without parents, in state care, or in difficult life circumstances.

Обов'язки

• Human Resource Management: training, recruitment, performance review, supervision structure
• monitoring and supporting the performance of the team towards the mission and goals
• ensuring high standards of services based on policies, best practices within the sector and donor requirements
• supporting budget preparation, comparing and evaluating actual and planned expenses
• providing evaluation and reports, and ensure reporting and information management processes are followed
• assisting the process of creating plans for projects and programs, and identifying needs and opportunities to help

Вимоги

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business or NGO Management, or qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or Education with additional training in management skills
• minimum of 3 years experience in managing and coordinating teams
• leadership skills: excellent inter-personal skills and able to inspire positive action, clearly communicate goals and able to be calm and make decisions under pressure
• high level of English verbal and written communication skills to be able to evaluate program proposals, donor agreements and discuss progress in meetings
• personal value for high standards, and for assisting vulnerable children and youth in a sustainable way – this job needs the personal motivation to make a positive impact
• experience of work in international and Ukrainian NGOs, and international donor-funded projects will be advantage
