    Rasmussen Global was founded in 2014 by the former Prime Minister of Denmark and Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen. The company is a boutique consultancy firm specialized in political and business advisory. Their purpose is to help democratic governments and international businesses navigate a complex world – and connect the dots for them to get their message across. Rasmussen Global is a small but highly agile firm with offices in Copenhagen, Brussels and Kyiv, as well as senior staff present in key capitals including Berlin, London, Paris and Madrid.
    Rasmussen Global is looking for an exceptional mid-level professional with 4-5 years of experience to join the team in Kyiv Office. In this role, you will drive the work with Rasmussen Global with key clients, deliver positive change on behalf of clients, and grow business. Although based in Kyiv, you will work with Rasmussen Global staff across Europe – including Brussels and Copenhagen – and you will travel when necessary. Alongside project management skills, Rasmussen Global is looking for someone with extensive policy experience, especially in the defence and security field, with a deep understanding of domestic Ukrainian politics and Ukraine’s defence sector. You will also be expected to support broader political work when needed. Rasmussen Global supports a wide range of clients, including from the private sector. Upon joining the Kyiv team, you’ll be engaged in a diverse portfolio, with topics covering security and defence, energy, as well as Ukrainian politics writ large.
 

Обов'язки

  • manage various complex projects for – and with – multiple stakeholders across the defense field
  • stakeholder mapping, develop and carry out outreach strategies, policy and awareness campaigns
  • draft policy papers, briefings, and various written materials
  • liaise with multiple stakeholders, including senior officials in government, civil-society, international partners, and occasionally media
  • organize meetings and/or online/offline events for various clients, roundtables in Kyiv, and occasionally regions in Ukraine
  • help develop and execute campaign strategies and communication campaigns
  • perform any other additional tasks, as required

Вимоги

  • a degree related to defense and security policy or public affairs
  • a minimum of 2 years of project management experience, with proven ability to oversee several public policy projects simultaneously
  • strong stakeholder management experience, including with senior-level clients
  • good network with professionals and decision-makers in Kyiv and at the level of oblasts as well as Ukraine’s military leadership
  • strong analytical and drafting skills, including developing public policy advice
  • excellent verbal and written English skills and experience drafting written materials and briefings in a professional capacity
  • native Ukrainian speaker
  • the ability to write well in another EU language is certainly an asset
  • experience working in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and other IT tools
  • very strong knowledge of the Ukrainian and global political landscape, and understanding of the workings of Ukrainian institutions
  • strong understanding of NATO and EU institutions and how they interact with Ukraine’s government
  • good commercial understanding and ability to proactively contribute to developing the firm’s relations with national and international corporate actors by delivering market research and identifying key stakeholders
  • can-do attitude to contribute to the success of a new and ambitious policy project, highly motivated, hardworking, and focused on delivery
  • strong judgment and interpersonal skills, willing to think creatively and take on new issues and projects
  • willingness to travel and occasionally work outside office hours
