Thanks to your generous donations, Nova Ukraine funds various projects to help the people of Ukraine and strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. The organisation greatly appreciates the overwhelming support from the community. Since the full-scale war, Nova Ukraine has already handed over 100 million dollars worth of humanitarian aid. The role of PR Manager is designed to strengthen Nova Ukraine’s reputation as a leading non-profit organization in the United States, emphasizing our role as a trusted partner providing comprehensive support, including financial assistance and innovative long-term solutions.

Обов'язки

• develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with Nova Ukraine’s mission, especially in the context of Ukraine’s current socio-political climate
• establish and maintain relationships with local and international media
• handle media inquiries, pitch stories across various important channels that would increase Nova Ukraine’s visibility in Ukraine (including local forums/Hromadas/Telegram Channels), and organize press events as necessary
• produce compelling content for multiple platforms, including press releases, UA social media, and UA email campaigns, ensuring alignment with our brand and mission
• address crises or negative publicity with professionalism, developing strategies to mitigate impact
• prepare and launch PR waves to promote and increase awareness of the brand
• search for and conduct negotiations with mass media and agencies
• prepare media plans and oversee budget planning
• create all necessary materials for posting, including releases, creatives, and links with UTM tags
• collect statistics, analyze placements, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and strategies

Вимоги

• university degree (Journalism, Marketing, PR, Social Communications)
• at least 5 years of experience as a PR or Communications Manager
• fluency in Ukrainian and English at least Upper-Intermediate level; additional languages are an advantage
• strong understanding of the Ukrainian media landscape and cultural sensitivities
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• proficient in social media and digital communication tools
• commitment to Nova Ukraine’s mission and values
