Global Rights Compliance (GRC) is an international legal foundation that focuses on bringing accountability for perpetrators of atrocity crimes. GRC has a presence in the Hague, London, Washington, and Ukraine. The vacancy involves work in the Propaganda and Legal Culpability project.

Обов'язки

• establishing and maintaining contacts with the team and project partners
• managing the team and supervising the preparation of project deliverables
• providing substantive input into project deliverables
• other tasks as assigned by the Project Director

Вимоги

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in project management/project administration/other coordinating role
• experience in journalism and/or propaganda/free speech issues
• flexible and creative
• able to work in an unstructured, changeable & fast-moving environment, proactive, anticipating problems and solutions-orientated
• not requiring detailed guidance to get started; can be given a ‘desired outcome’ and figure out the action areas required to reach it
• practical thinker, able to break down and pursue the elements required to operationalize a strategy
• team player
• administratively competent; able to manage competing urgent demands
• fluency in English and Ukrainian
• practical experience in working with highly sensitive material and an ability to demonstrate the requisite skill in storing, sharing, and working with such material
• understanding of IHL and human rights law will be an advantage
• experience working in Ukraine and/or another post-Soviet system will be an advantage
• degree in law/international law/international relations/journalism/social studies

Умови

• full-time employment
• work in Ukraine with the possibility of working remotely upon mutual agreement
• length of the consultancy: 5 months (with possible extension)
