The Mine Action Support Team at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is a multi-year program operating within the Ministry of Economy, focusing on developing humanitarian demining in Ukraine. The European Commission funds it.
The goal of the MAST is to build an effective mine action system in Ukraine that will ensure the best possible protection of the population from the threat of explosive ordnance and the fastest possible return of land to productive use. The team works closely with government agencies responsible for and involved in mine action, such as the Mine Action Centre, the Centre for Humanitarian Demining, the National Mine Action Authority, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and other central executive authorities.

assist in the organization of program events, including meetings, workshops, and conferences
prepare presentations, theses, e-mails and other documents
maintain meeting notes and other written communication materials
provide support to monitoring, evaluation activities and data collection activities by drafting project-related reports, success stories, and other types of programmatic documents
make necessary arrangements for daily coordination needs, including managing meetings, contacting relevant stakeholders, etc
communicate with the Central Project Management Agency (CPMA) as necessary, and assist with activities related to the organizational aspect of the project
provide logistics/arrangements support for the team
translate program-related documents (English-Ukrainian and vice-versa)
other duties as assigned

University degree in one of the following fields: economics, law, public administration, international relations, project management, social sciences, foreign languages, or equivalent comparable fields
3+ years of experience in a project assistant, analytical or administrative capacity in international companies, organizations, technical assistance projects, Ukrainian state authorities, or civil society organizations
