    CRDF Global — an independent nonprofit organization that promotes safety, security, and sustainability through international development and foreign assistance missions in over 120 countries. Organization is a recognized leader in strategic capacity building programs that combine technical expertise with flexible, locally driven solutions across the areas of CBRNE security and non-proliferation, global health, strategic trade controls, cybersecurity, innovation, and international professional exchanges.
    The Project Lead (Counterproliferation) will leverage project management best practices to implement counter proliferation programming, specifically focused on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection, supporting international nonproliferation norms and countering malign proliferator state influence and aggression.
 

Обов'язки

  • design and implement projects using best practices for project management that include project charters, work breakdown structures, statements of work, schedules, deliverables, monitoring and evaluation plans, and project budgets
  • work with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement in-person and online trainings, events, and capacity building programs
  • develop and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships with donor/client organizations, partners in Europe and other regions (vendors, consultants, universities, private sector), relevant U.S. and foreign government agencies, and other NGOs
  • create project budgets, conduct project budget forecasting, and manage sub-award budgets, including planning, administration, and financial reporting of project expenses
  • develop concepts and new project ideas as part of the proposal development process
  • represent the program or projects at external events
  • support other CRDF Global programs and staff as required
  • travel within Ukraine and internationally as appropriate
  • perform other duties as assigned

Вимоги

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible work experience in managing donor-funded programming
  • bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • demonstrated project management skills
  • professional fluency in English and Ukrainian
  • excellent and effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds at all levels within their organizations
  • strong conceptual and research skills combined with the ability to break down concepts into manageable, specific sets of objectives in order to plan and successfully implement creative, ambitious new projects
  • previous experience working with different stakeholders
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and use of databases
  • ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects at various stages of completion
  • exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines
  • strong diplomatic and negotiating skills
  • Ukraine work permit
  • experience working in donor-funded projects, especially for the U.S. government or multilateral institutions will be an advantage
  • experience working with a non-profit organization will be an advantage
  • background, knowledge, or familiarity with counterproliferation, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure protection will be an advantage
  • familiarity with Ukrainian and/or European cybersecurity community will be an advantage
