The Project Lead for Cybersecurity portfolio will be primarily responsible for executing a series of capacity-building initiatives aimed at enhancing cybersecurity capabilities in Ukraine.

designing and implementing project plans using best practices for project management, including charters, work breakdown structures (WBS), statements of work, schedules, deliverables, monitoring and evaluation plans, and project budgets
preparing and submitting reports and proposed modifications if necessary
preparing and providing workshops
participating in managing stakeholder relations and networking with funders
working with SMEs to design, develop, and implement in-person and online cybersecurity-related trainings and capacity-building programs
managing sub-award budgets, including planning, administration, and financial reporting of project expenses upon closeout of the sub-award(s)
developing concepts and new project ideas as part of the proposal development process
maintaining collaborative relationships with donor/client organizations, in-country partners (vendors, consultants, universities), relevant U.S. and foreign government agencies, and other NGOs
presenting evaluation results to key stakeholders
representing programs or projects at external events
supporting other programs and staff, as required
traveling within Ukraine and internationally as appropriate
performing other duties as assigned

bachelor’s degree in a related field
3+ years of progressively responsible work experience in managing donor-funded programming
demonstrated project management skills
professional fluency in English and Ukrainian
excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds at all levels within their organizations
strong conceptual skills combined with the ability to break down concepts into specific objectives to plan and successfully implement creative, ambitious new projects
proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of databases
ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects at various stages of completion
exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines
strong diplomatic and negotiating skills
Ukraine work authorization
experience working in donor-funded projects, especially for the U.S. government or multilateral institutions, will be an advantage
experience working with an international non-profit organization, will be an advantage
background, knowledge, or familiarity with cybersecurity trends, will be an advantage
