Swisscontact is expanding its presence in Ukraine with the new BLOOM project, supporting food security and livelihood recovery in war-affected communities through on- and off-farm resilience initiatives. The project applies Market Systems Development (MSD) principles to tackle both immediate and systemic challenges.

The company is looking for a Public and Private Sector Engagement Specialist to lead stakeholder engagement for pilot initiatives, including cost-shared grants for small businesses and energy-efficient infrastructure renovations.
The role focuses on building trust, coordinating efforts, and ensuring strong local ownership.

Обов'язки

• identification and engagement of key public and private sector stakeholders, including local governments, businesses, and industry associations
• building of strategic partnerships to align pilot initiatives with local development priorities and market needs
• organization of regular meetings, workshops, and roundtable discussions to facilitate collaboration and information exchange
• design and facilitation of partnerships that leverage public and private sector resources to maximize the impact of cost-shared grants
• drafting of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) or agreements to formalize roles and responsibilities of partners
• monitoring and management of partnerships to ensure alignment with project goals and sustainability
• provision of technical advice to stakeholders on grant applications, fund utilization, and compliance requirements
• support to stakeholders in identifying co-financing opportunities and accessing additional resources
• collaboration with the project M&E team to track the progress and outcomes of engagement activities
• preparation of detailed reports on stakeholder engagement efforts and their impact on project implementation

Вимоги

• degree in a relevant field such as economics, business administration, public policy, or related fields
• experience in stakeholder engagement, public-private partnerships, or related roles of 5 years or more
• proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders in public and private sectors
• knowledge of grant management, energy efficiency, and small business development
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• strong personality with good social skills and high emotional intelligence
• fluency in spoken and written English will be an advantage

Умови

• work in Kyiv, with regular visits to the implementation regions (Kharkiv, Mykolaiv)
• 12 months contract duration, starting in June 2025, with possibility of extension (subject to further FCDO funding)
