The OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine (SPU) has been established in order to continue supporting the Ukrainian Government’s reform efforts and mitigating the increased risks to civilians caused by the war against the country. The objective of the SPU - and therefore of all its projects - is to support Ukraine across all three OSCE dimensions on the government’s reform efforts and on the evolving risks to civilians caused by the war, thus ensuring that the OSCE’s work conducted over the past three decades and in the future, continues to impact positively the institutions and people of Ukraine and that Ukraine’s comprehensive security is enhanced in line with the OSCE commitments.
This vacancy is for two positions within the following Rule of Law and Human Rights Component projects of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine: 1) "Supporting the Development of Effective Tools for the Prevention of Corruption and Enhancing Anti-Corruption Compliance in Ukraine"; 2) "Enhancing Co-ordinated and Analytical Approaches to Investigating Serious Crimes, Particularly Related to Missing Children".

assisting in the timely accomplishment of project tasks by coordinating and supporting project activities, including planning and following up with partners and stakeholders on administrative activities in line with OSCE rules and established business processes
supporting the mobilization and coordination of consultants, contractors, goods, and services, including assisting in the administration and monitoring of Terms of References and specifications, and following up on processes and deliverables
helping manage expert and procurement contracts, contributing to the preparation, submission, revision, and monitoring of project budgets, and providing information on implementation
assisting in coordinating inter-agency meetings with national stakeholders within the project’s scope, providing advice on required inputs from national partners to support project activities
representing the OSCE at local, national, and regional conferences and events, including speaking engagements with NGOs, international, or bilateral agencies, as directed by supervisors
assembling and synthesizing data to facilitate analysis of project activities, supporting the drafting of periodic or ad hoc management reports, and maintaining and retrieving reference material, documentation, data, and information
assisting in the organization of project events, meetings, workshops, and other activities
assisting in consolidating and monitoring various reports related to project human resources planning and expenditures, including tracking the use of non-staff resources, communication and publishing plans, IT plans, and travel schedules
raising procurement requests in IRMA, monitoring the project’s implementation rates and spending patterns, and providing recommendations to improve financial planning and monitoring
conducting research and needs assessments to support knowledge building and knowledge sharing across the program
assisting in training staff and briefing budget holders on administrative, budgetary, planning, programming, and financial procedures
reviewing current processes and providing recommendations to improve programme/project administration procedures
performing other assigned duties

completed secondary education, supplemented by specialized training or formal studies in a field relevant to the project (rule of law, human rights, democratization, anti-corruption, or related field)
a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in rule of law, human rights, democratization, anti-corruption, or related field
experience in project planning, implementation, and reporting
knowledge of the latest political and social developments and priority issues on the reform agenda in the area of rule of law in Ukraine
excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Ukrainian
ability to conduct research and collect information from a variety of sources
proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities
ability and willingness to work as part of a diverse team, with people of different cultural, religious, and political backgrounds, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity

monthly remuneration, subject to social security deduction, is USD 1,954 as per the relevant OSCE salary scale; the salary payment is effected in EUR
