IFES is a non-profit, non-partisan international organization. As the global leader in democracy promotion, IFES advances good governance and democratic rights by providing technical assistance to election officials; empowering the underrepresented to participate in the political process; and applying field-based research to improve the electoral cycle. Since 1987, IFES has worked in over 145 countries, from developing democracies to mature democracies. The Senior Project Manager will design and implement activities within the Political and Electoral Rights section under the supervision of the IFES Head of Programs.

Обов'язки

  • leadership in the design and implementation of activities related to civic education courses at universities, vocational institutions, educational online platforms, awareness campaigns, voter education initiatives, and other related activities
  • development and implementation of offline and online extracurricular education activities for students, including DemTalks, DemEducation, DemVision, DemCamps, etc.
  • providing clear guidance, overseeing activities, and monitoring staff performance under direct supervision
  • leadership in the development of a sustainable project management cycle, aligning with standards and guidance from the Head of Programs
  • building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, government counterparts, and national stakeholders to achieve sustainable results
  • suggesting priorities and adjustments to the work plan and activity designs as needed
  • ensuring strategic design and expansion of section activities, contributing to the development of new programmatic initiatives
  • applying innovative approaches and promoting good practices to ensure the effective and sustainable delivery of program results
  • staying informed about, researching, and implementing best practices in civic education and related fields, and sharing this knowledge
  • ensuring relevant procurements are carried out according to regulations, procedures, and donor requirements
  • enhancing IFES Ukraine's visibility by representing the organization at public events, writing content for the website, newsletters, and ensuring proper branding in public documents
  • contributing to the identification, development, and promotion of success stories and lessons learned from interventions
  • leading efforts to plan and organize events, workshops, and trainings in support of civic education activities
  • contributing to and reviewing programmatic reports to donors and IFES HQ, including the collection of monitoring and evaluation data
  • performing other duties as assigned

Вимоги

  • bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a master’s degree preferred
  • minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or eight years with a master’s degree
  • prior experience managing staff
  • demonstrated professional experience and expertise in civic education or civil society engagement
  • experience in designing or promoting academic or non-formal educational courses or innovative educational digital products (preferred)
  • strong analytical skills
  • proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • fluency in English and Ukrainian
  • ability to travel as required
  • high organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • ability to work independently and complete tasks with limited supervision
  • collaborative approach and cooperative working style
  • strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • excellent writing skills
  • ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
  • commitment to ethical behavior and integrity
