Swisscontact is active in 40 countries with over 1000 employees and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
The Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) is a mandate of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) aimed at integrating developing and transition countries into global trade. It supports Business Support Organizations (BSOs) in 12 countries to explore and access international markets for their export-ready companies. SIPPO has been implemented by Swisscontact since April 2017.
SIPPO Ukraine supports export associations, businesses, and organizations in creating trade opportunities and fostering sustainable economic growth for Ukrainian companies.

represent SIPPO in Ukraine in alignment with the programme’s global mission and at relevant events
plan and implement programme activities in line with the defined country strategy
develop and execute annual workplans for each BSO in coordination with the Country Representative (CR)
organise field missions, seminars, workshops, and other programme-related events
manage country-level communications, prepare presentations and meeting minutes, support with informal translations and logistical coordination
monitor implementation of BSO workplans and track activity budget spending
support implementation of SIPPO’s monitoring and results measurement (MRM) system in collaboration with SIPPO’s Lead MRM in Berne
deliver narrative and KPI-based progress reports to the CR every six months
maintain strong communication and cooperation with BSOs, companies, government agencies, and related projects
support BSOs in strategic planning and coordination of export promotion activities
enable institutional capacity building to strengthen or expand BSO services
contribute to programme objective-setting and operationalise strategic plans
participate in capacity needs assessments with BSOs and help address identified gaps
build and sustain a strong network with key stakeholders

university degree in international law, economics, business studies, marketing, management, or related fields
experience in international trade and development of 5 years or more
hands-on experience in the private sector and/or with BSOs in export or project management roles
understanding of the Ukrainian BSO landscape
fluency in English (written and spoken)
experience with donor-funded project management
knowledge of EU market access regulations and Ukrainian legislative alignment
actively listen and understand BSO and company needs
manage your time and priorities independently and effectively
maintain a goal-oriented mindset and openness to learning from mistakes
approach challenges with proactivity and solution orientation
communicate and negotiate confidently with a variety of stakeholders
adapt and respond flexibly to evolving environments
translate strategic vision into actionable steps
share knowledge openly and collaborate within the wider SIPPO network
travel nationally and internationally when required
experience managing Ukrainian exports to the EU or Switzerland will be an advantage
