Swisscontact is expanding its work in Ukraine with the BLOOM project, aimed at boosting food security and livelihoods for war-affected communities through a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach.

The company is hiring Technical Officers (Skills) to lead vocational training and capacity-building efforts. These roles focus on developing inclusive, market-oriented skill development programs that support long-term resilience and economic opportunities in the regions.

Обов'язки

  • design and delivery of technical and vocational training programs tailored to market needs of the rural areas of the region (Kharkiv or Mykolaiv)
  • development of curriculum, training materials, and resources aligned with national standards and market requirements
  • facilitation of skill development workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training programs
  • collaboration with training institutions, private sector actors, and local government agencies to deliver skill development interventions
  • strengthening of linkages between training providers and employers to promote job placement and entrepreneurship opportunities
  • active engagement with community stakeholders to identify skill gaps and ensure local buy-in for training activities
  • monitoring of skill development activities to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • conducting of regular field visits to training sites and beneficiaries to assess progress and collect feedback
  • contribution to reports, case studies, and success stories to demonstrate the impact of training interventions
  • ensuring that training programs are inclusive and tailored to the needs of marginalized groups, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities

Вимоги

  • bachelor’s degree in education, vocational training, human resource development, or a related field
  • experience in skills development, technical training, or workforce development projects of 3 years or more
  • familiarity with labor market dynamics, training methodologies, and competency-based education
  • strong understanding of inclusive development principles and approaches
  • experience working in partnership with public and private stakeholders, including employers and training institutions
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • strong personality with good social skills and high emotional intelligence
  • fluency in spoken and written English will be an advantage

Умови

  • work in Kyiv, with regular visits to the implementation regions (Kharkiv, Mykolaiv)
  • 12 months contract duration, starting in June 2025, with possibility of extension (subject to further FCDO funding)
