The International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is an international NGO that supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations, and training. INSO supports more than 1200 NGOs operating in 18 of the world’s most insecure countries daily. INSO Ukraine INSO Ukraine opened in 2015. Since the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, it has rapidly expanded to a complete platform serving the needs of NGOs in a fast-evolving conflict.
More than 240 national and international NGOs receive INSO services, including information, analysis and advice through a wide range of written products, briefings, tailored assessments, crisis support, and a broad range of training courses. We have offices in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, and Lviv.

contribute to the planning and logistical preparation of training sessions
contribute to the development and contextualization of training courses
prepare for and participate in facilitating NGO meetings to identify specific training needs and gaps
be proactive in improving training content and methods
contribute to a positive public perception of INSO’s work to establish and maintain recognition of its mandate for independence, impartiality, and neutrality
Вимоги
fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken)
graduate-level education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
competency in Microsoft Office, including Power Point and Excel
a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing training, ideally in the humanitarian safety sector and ideally at the field level
commitment to humanitarian principles and values
ability to excel in a multicultural work environment
the ideal candidate will above all else share INSO’s commitment to humanitarian principles
Nice to have :
recent experience working in an NGO, ideally in an NGO safety training role or equivalent
familiarity with the philosophy, priorities, and principles of humanitarian NGOs and NGO approaches to security
experience in the design and development of bespoke safety training curricula for NGOs
experience in the development and delivery of HEAT, HEIST, or HEFAT courses
