Ukrainian World Congress is an international non-governmental organization that represents the interests of over 20 million Ukrainians in the diaspora, unites Ukrainian communities and organizations in over 60 countries, and works to support a democratic, prosperous, European Ukraine.

Обов'язки

• work with Communications Team in Europe to produce robust daily output of communications materials supporting UWC audience messaging and engagement goals
• сreation of English stories and posts for publications including social media and website content, press releases, newsletters
• translation/adaptation of materials from Ukrainian to English in concise and engaging style
• editing and proofreading English language content prepared by others

Вимоги

• fluency in English (native speaker)
• proficiency in Ukrainian will be an advantage
• experience in writing and editing communications materials
• exceptional, concise and pithy writing and editing skills
• knowledge of Ukrainian current affairs as well as geopolitical and cultural history
• basic computer skills in MS Access, Google Suites, team productivity tools
• ability to work in a fast-moving environment with many different activities and campaigns happening at once
• ability to meet deadlines
• availability to take assignments in the evening or weekend as required by breaking news and special events
