Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires sans Frontières – Canada (VWB/VSF) is a charitable, humanitarian organization whose mission is to work for and with those in need to foster the health of animals, people and the environments that sustain us.

Обов'язки

  • coordination of the Program activities in Ukraine
  • communication with partners in Ukraine and supporting them with implementing their projects
  • collaboration with stakeholders, including national and local authorities, international and Ukrainian organizations, the veterinarian community, and educational institutions
  • development, implementation, and overseeing data collection instruments and conducting qualitative and quantitative data collection
  • travels within Ukraine for project monitoring, stakeholder meetings, and other relevant activities
  • assessing the partners’ learning and development needs and participation in designing learning activities
  • assistance in identifying prospective regional multilateral, corporate, and individual donors for the Ukraine Program
  • contribution to proposal writing, review, and editing of narratives, concept notes, and other business/program development documents
  • promotion of VWB/VSF Canada's work and principles by participating in relevant events and networks and representing the organization in external meetings, workshops, and conferences
  • working closely with the VWB/VSF Canada's Program and Communication Team
  • supporting public engagement activities and providing input for website updates and ways of profiling VWB/VSF to a wider audience

Вимоги

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, coordination, or a related role in an international development setting or non-profit organization
  • knowledge and experience in project cycle management, including program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and financial reporting
  • strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with international and local non-profit organizations, government agencies, and other relevant actors
  • fluency in English and Ukrainian
  • intercultural sensitivity and effective interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in remote communication and collaboration
  • good understanding of the animal welfare and livestock development context in Ukraine and experience or knowledge in animal welfare, public health or related fields will be an advantage
