Tulip Tech is a Dutch manufacturer of high-performance batteries for drones. Its technology enables UAVs to fly 30–100% longer than with standard batteries and is already used by Ukrainian military units and leading UAV companies. The company is rapidly scaling its operations in Ukraine, the Netherlands, across Europe, and the United States, with a mission to strengthen European security and support Ukraine's fight for independence.

As Financial Controller for the Ukraine office, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable financial administration, including daily bookkeeping, month-end closing and reporting. You will work closely with the finance team in the Netherlands and take an active role in setting up financial processes and implementing Odoo Finance.

Обов'язки

• preparation and processing of one-off, recurring and tax payments and control of accounts across three banks, following the four-eyes principle
• calculation of salaries and maintenance of payroll records for around ten employees, including monthly summaries of net pay and taxes
• filing of monthly VAT, quarterly and annual reports, timely tax payments and management of tax invoices via M.E.Doc or Vchasno
• maintenance of accounting software, recording of transactions and preparation of contracts and acts for signing
• maintenance, reconciliation and archiving of primary documentation
• collection and verification of invoices and contracts and follow-up with counterparties regarding acts and supporting documents
• maintenance of warehouse and inventory records and accounting for customs declarations and EU imports
• preparation of monthly closing and reconciliation of intercompany and balance sheet accounts, including receivables, payables, inventory and accruals
• reconciliation of bank and cash accounts and preparation of reporting for the finance team in the Netherlands
• work in Exact and active participation in the ERP implementation project to migrate financial administration to Odoo Finance
• participation in finance process improvement projects together with the Netherlands team
• preparation of documents for critically important enterprise status and Defence City residency
• support for a possible transition into manufacturing, including form 20 OPP
• maintenance of cash discipline, control of accountable funds, audit readiness and confidentiality of financial information

Вимоги

• at least 8–10 years of experience in finance or accounting with end-to-end responsibility
• proven experience running and setting up financial administration in Ukraine, including building processes from scratch
• strong knowledge of Ukrainian tax and reporting requirements
• experience with accounting software and M.E.Doc or Vchasno
• confident Excel skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
• ability to independently make sound financial and accounting decisions
• proactive approach to structuring transactions and improving financial processes
• ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing and scaling environment
• ability to react quickly to requests from counterparties and changing circumstances to avoid penalties
• ability to work closely with the director, Ukrainian lawyer and administrator
• English at B2 level or above
• experience with Exact and/or Odoo Finance will be an advantage
