Ukraine Global Scholars (UGS) is a U.S.- and Ukraine-registered nonprofit organization that helps talented Ukrainian high school students from low-income backgrounds gain admission to leading boarding schools and universities worldwide through full scholarships. Since 2015, nearly 400 UGS students have received more than $100 million in scholarships, committing to return to Ukraine after graduation and contribute to the country's long-term recovery. Today, UGS is expanding beyond education by building initiatives that connect globally educated Ukrainians with professional opportunities in Ukraine and support the next generation of leaders.

  • identifying institutional grant opportunities from foundations, governments, international organizations, and other donors
  • researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals
  • managing fundraising calendars, deadlines, and reporting requirements
  • developing relationships with corporate partners, philanthropic organizations, and private donors
  • preparing tailored partnership proposals and sponsorship opportunities
  • maintaining relationships with existing donors and expanding the donor network
  • supporting donor stewardship and long-term engagement
  • managing UGS's presence on digital fundraising and crowdfunding platforms
  • collaborating with the Communications team on online fundraising campaigns
  • identifying new digital fundraising channels and innovative giving opportunities
  • developing fundraising campaigns for alumni, supporters, and international communities
  • researching awards, accelerators, fellowships, and recognition opportunities
  • identifying new fundraising mechanisms, partnerships, and revenue opportunities
  • monitoring fundraising trends and recommending new growth strategies
  • coordinating fundraising activities for events, conferences, and community initiatives
  • developing sponsorship packages and donor engagement opportunities

Вимоги

  • at least 2 years of nonprofit fundraising experience
  • proven track record of securing grants from institutional donors
  • experience attracting corporate sponsorships and/or philanthropic funding
  • experience managing crowdfunding campaigns or digital fundraising initiatives
  • excellent written and spoken English (professional level)
  • excellent written and spoken Ukrainian
  • strong proposal writing and communication skills
  • excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • creative mindset and willingness to explore new fundraising approaches
  • genuine interest in education, youth development, and Ukraine's long-term recovery
  • FOP (3rd Group)
