The company is looking for a C++ Developer to build AI autopilot systems, including flight functionality, tactics, and behaviours, working with ArduPilot and Betaflight. This role involves close collaboration with the flight test team, deploying code to physical platforms, conducting real-world testing, and supporting rapid deployment to the frontline. The position also includes working closely with machine learning teams in Europe to translate AI capabilities into autonomous flight behaviour.

• build AI autopilot systems, including flight functionality, tactics, and behaviours, in C++ using ArduPilot and Betaflight
• deploy code to physical platforms, test it in the field, and deliver it to the frontline for combat use
• collaborate closely with the flight test team and machine learning teams in Europe, translating AI intentions into flight behaviour

• strong C++ engineering fundamentals
• experience with flight controllers (ArduPilot, Betaflight, or equivalent)
• ability to iterate quickly on hardware in real-world field conditions
• willingness to work hands-on with hardware in addition to software development
• conversational English
