An international team developing and operating advanced rotary-wing UAS is looking for a Senior Flight Test Engineer. The role combines flight testing, field operations, technical troubleshooting, and close collaboration with engineering and operational teams.

• planning and executing flight test campaigns, including hover stability, payload integration, endurance, and autonomous mission testing
• developing test plans, procedures, test cards, safety protocols, and operating limitations
• analyzing flight test results and telemetry, identifying technical risks and anomalies, and providing actionable recommendations to engineering teams
• providing hands-on field support, including system setup, calibration, software updates, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs
• working directly with operators and end users, providing technical guidance, and collecting feedback for product improvement
• supporting operational planning, system readiness, and mission-relevant testing
• preparing clear reports on test results, incidents, field issues, and technical recommendations

Вимоги

• 2–3+ years of experience with rotary-wing UAS, including multirotor or VTOL platforms, in operational or testing environments
• hands-on flight testing experience
• experience with PX4, ArduPilot, and/or MAVLink
• experience with QGroundControl and/or Mission Planner
• solid understanding of UAS architecture, including propulsion, flight controllers, and onboard electronics
• hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in field conditions
• understanding of mission planning and real-world UAS operations
• strong written and spoken English and Ukrainian
• ability to work independently, make technically sound decisions, and operate effectively in demanding and rapidly changing environments
• willingness to work outdoors and travel when required

Will be an advantage

• experience with flight log and telemetry analysis, including PX4 or ArduPilot logs
• experience with PID tuning, sensor and ESC calibration, failsafe configuration, EKF, or vibration analysis
• experience with BVLOS, FPV, payload-equipped UAS, or complex field deployments
• experience working with military or government customers
• familiarity with QA processes, bug reporting, and tools such as Jira or GitHub
